Who We Are

This is USEE

We are a team of change-makers who believe that every helping hand can cultivate the well-being of Utah’s communities and ecosystems.

At USEE, we believe every Utahn deserves the chance to connect with nature and their community — and learn how to care for both.

Since 1981, we’ve been bringing people together to build a stronger, more environmentally literate Utah. From K–12 teachers and nonprofit leaders to public lands staff and community educators, we support anyone passionate about helping others learn through and about the environment.

As Utah’s official affiliate of the North American Association for Environmental Education, we’re part of a national network dedicated to growing environmental literacy and stewardship.

We’re here to help educators of all kinds feel confident, inspired, and connected — whether in classrooms, on trails, or out in the community. And we do it all with a spirit of inclusion, a deep love for our state, and a commitment to learning and growing together.
